At the grocery store.
Being in the grocery store the weekend before Thanksgiving is similar to being out on St. Patrick’s Day. It’s amateur hour.
What do I mean?
The people who don’t grocery shop all year round come out to prepare for Thanksgiving.
The people who don’t regularly bar hop all year round come out to drink on St. Patrick’s Day.
I went grocery shopping Saturday morning, as I do every week. Usually at 9am the lines are bearable, the crowd is small and I can hit about 3 stores in 2 hours. On the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the crowds are unbearable, people lose control of their shopping carts and half the items are either already gone or never stocked. It’s basically Armageddon 101.
Solution: Be Thankful on Beach the week of Thanksgiving
